What this site represents, basically, is one man's personal take on specific instances of what we refer to when we say 'pop culture' - the modern artifacts of entertainment, marketing, and social something-or-other which we all seem to recognize as being a part of our lives - a trivial part, for many of us... but not for all of us. It is also, incidentally, a basic encyclopedia introducing specific subjects to readers who might be too young or otherwise unfamiliar with them, but who may become interested in such things for whatever reason. (Hey, all those Family Guy references have to come from somewhere, right?)
